Founded in 2013, Primary English has evolved from an educational consultancy supporting teachers and schools across the UK, to a website dedicated to improving literacy teaching.
Rachel Clarke
Primary English is owned by Rachel Clarke. In a career spanning three decades she has worked as a SENCO, English Subject Leader, Deputy Headteacher, an English Consultant for both Coventry Local Authority and Primary English. She founded Primary English in 2013 and this website is home to many of the resources and articles she has created to support teachers in their daily work.
