Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain Whole Class Reading Teaching Sequence
This teaching sequence focuses primarily on the key skills of reading aloud with expression and fluency, inferring meaning from what is stated and implied, and being able to retrieve key information from the text whilst also drawing in other skills relevant to the reading aspect of the national curriculum. the pack includes approximately two weeks of reading sessions with time to allocate additional tasks to children.
